Allie Pangle McARTHUR, 95, of Rocky Face, GA. died March 10, 1982. She is survived by two sons, H. P. and Donald McArthur of Rocky Face; daughter, Inez DeVane of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Tom Pangle of Dalton; sister, Ella Jordan of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held March 12, 1982 at Dunagan Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Michael Eugene McCALLEY, 57, of Dalton, departed this life Monday, October 31, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born January 21, 1954, in Dalton, a son of the late Samuel and Alice Carroll McCalley. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Leroy McCalley; sister, Linda Young. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 112 in Dalton. He is survived by his wife of 28 years; daughter; sons and daughters-in-law; brother; sister and brother-in-law; grandchildren. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Eugene McCalley were held November 2, 2011 at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. He was laid to rest at Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Ponders Funeral Home, Melrose Chapel, 138 Melrose Drive, Dalton; (706) 226-4002.

Robert Lee McCARTER, nine month old son of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Carter died near Cohutta on November 6, 1940. Besides his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Mrs. Ollie Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Halk McCarter. Funeral services were held November 7, 1940 at Frazier's Chapel. Interment was in Frazier's Chapel Cemetery with Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Emery McNEES, 39, died in the Houston Valley Community on November 22, 1940. He is survived by his wife, Emma Painter McNees; sons, Clay, Floyd and Edward McNees; daughters, Evelyn, Jewel, Betty Gene, Irene and Catherine McNees; parents, Mr. & Mrs. G. E. McNees; brothers, W. E., C. F., E. C. and B. T. McNees; sister, Mrs. Homer Rogers. Funeral services were held at Friendship Baptist Church. Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
