Freddie M. QUARLES, 77, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born on May 2, 1941. Freddie is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Sugar) Quarles; parents, Mack and Pauline Quarles. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; grandson; granddaughter and her husband; great grandson; two sisters; brother and sister-in-law; and numerous stepchildren and grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Freddie M. Quarles was held at September 19, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Junior Williams officiating. Interment was in the Cohutta Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.

Leonard Roger QUARLES, 81, of Dalton, GA died March 31, 2002. Mr. Quarles was born March 25, 1921 in Marion County, TN son of the late Harbert and Flossie Brewer Quarles. Mr. Quarles was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Funeral services were held April 3, 2002 at the Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Puckett officiating. Interment was in United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA. Arrangements were by Ponders Funeral Home of Dalton, GA.

Minnie Ruth "Sugar" Henderson Bostick QUARLES, 78, of Dalton, Georgia passed away, Tuesday May 29, 2018. She was born on August 10, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years and the father of her children, John Raymond Bostick, Jr; sons, Nathan Bostick and John Wayne Bostick; brothers, John, George, and Otis Henderson; sisters, Pearl Brewer, Ethel Williamson, Annie Brumbelow, Pauline Brewer, Nora Lou "Tootsie" Freeman and Louise Wright. She is survived by her husband, Freddie M. Quarles; six sons and daughters-in-law; daughter and son-in-law; one sister; 28 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Minnie Ruth Quarles was held June 4, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment was at Cohutta Hills. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.
