Eula A. Mitchell WARNACK, 24, died December 9, 1940 in Dalton, GA. She is survived by her husband, Lester Warnack of Dalton and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Wiley Mitchell of Rome. Funeral services were held December 11, 1940 at Mt. Rachel Baptist Church. Interment was in Varnell Cemetery with Love Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Eliza Novella WATSON, 82, of Tennga, GA. died June 17, 1997. She was preceded in death by husband, A. H. Watson, 2 daughters, & 1 son. Survivors include sons, James of Dalton, George, Howard, & Lewis of Chatsworth; daughter, Dorothy of Tennga; sister, Lucille Davis of Spartanburg, SC; 26 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 19, 1997 at Jones Funeral Home in Chatsworth, GA. Burial was in Dry Hill Cemetery in Rockwood, TN.

W. Pleasant WILSON, 78, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 9, 1921. He leaves to mourn his loss, three sons and three daughters--Mr. Charles Wilson of Arkansas, Pledge Wilson, Spring Place, GA and Doctor Wilson of Phelps, Mrs. Lula Callahan, of Dalton, Mrs. Frances Prichard, of Dalton, and Mrs. Addie Cooper of Marietta, GA. 22 grandchildren, nine gr-grandchildren, besides hundreds of other relatives and friends. He was laid to rest in Tilton Cemetery, he being a member of the Tilton Methodist Church for several years.

Grace Lowery WOOTEN, 91, of Tunnel Hill, departed this life on Friday [Nov 16, 2007]. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Susie Pless Lowery and was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Wooten; and her brothers and sisters. Grace was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Nellie Gulledge of Tunnel Hill, Pauline and William "Bud" Chadwick of Rocky Face; Grandchildren, Barney Collins, Randall Collins, Bobby Collins, Lamont Smith, Lamar Smith and Denton Smith; Fifteen great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. Services were on Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cochran officiating. [Burial was in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Love Funeral Home, 1402 N, Thornton Ave., Dalton was in charge of arrangements.]
